Garth and Ted

So what really happened?
The buzz is that this is pretty straight forward. Ted really was ok, with a mutual parting of the ways, and Garth just wanted to go with a youth movement.
Perhaps there was a clash of personalities, but I don’t think so. I think both men respected each other and actually did want to emphasis different things. Ted wanted to win now. I like that idead.
Garth wanted to keep their prospects. More on the horrible history of Islanders prospect dispensing another time.
For now, its clear that its Garth’s team, and as long as he nurtures the prospects, and plays the prospects, and KEEPS the prospects, Islander fans, who have been through a lot, will loyally hang in there.
At this point the mere sense of a strategy, is enough to give them hope!
